走出光復國小側門，步行約100公尺，便可以看見安靜佇立在街角的媽祖廟(Mazu temple) — 萬春宮。
萬春宮小而巧，裡頭的媽祖(Mazu)大有來頭。1721年，清朝總兵藍廷珍從媽祖的故鄉 — 中國湄洲迎來神像供奉，是舊城區第一尊飄洋過海而來的湄洲媽祖，因此被稱為「臺中媽」。
雕法古樸的媽祖，面容被經年累月的香火燻得烏黑，嘴角慈祥的微笑依然清晰可見。這位海洋女神在過往300年，默默庇佑土地上努力生活的人們；在未來，祂也將繼續帶來心靈安定的力量。
萬春宮擁有好幾項清代流傳下來的文物，找一找文物在哪裡，並為他們拍照。
