林之助紀念館位於臺中市，是一座具有歷史意義的日式木造建築，原為國立臺中教育大學的教職員宿舍，建於1928年。這裡曾是林之助教授的故居和創作畫室。
林之助（1917-2008）是臺灣著名的膠彩畫家，他在12歲時便赴日本學習藝術，並在1946年返回臺灣後於臺中師範學校（現為國立臺中教育大學）任教，並在此居住長達60年。紀念館經過修復後，常態性展出林之助的複製畫作、舊時家具、膠彩顏料及書信等相關文物，並在和室展演空間播放介紹林之助的影片，讓參觀者能夠深入了解這位藝術家的生平與成就。
這座紀念館不僅保留了當時的建築風貌，也見證了柳川沿岸的都市發展，是一處融合歷史、文化與藝術的珍貴場所。
