然而，溪尾大橋的建立重啟了溪尾地區和臺中市的連結，也大幅縮短了溪尾里里民前往烏日與臺中市市區的交通時間，是溪尾地區不可或缺的交通樞紐。
橋墩的設計如白鷺展翅，象徵著「臺中起飛」、「烏日展翼」。從溪尾大橋上眺望，便能看見純樸的溪尾村落和一望無際的稻田。稻田隨著四季變化，輪流披上翠綠與金黃的外衣，成為溪尾一帶的經典美景。

Long time ago, here comes terrible flood. The flood happened so many times. So the government built the bank. But people living in Siwei were separated from Taichung city after the bank was built.
很久以前，這裡發生了可怕的水災。水災發生了很多次，所以政府在這裡造堤防。但是住在這裡的溪尾居民就和臺中市分開了。
Oh, I see. Then people built the bridge to connect Siwei village and Taichung city. The flood really impacted the village a lot. What a horrible flood!
原來如此，所以人們建造這座橋連接溪尾里和臺中市，水災真的影響村子很多，水災真糟糕！
