你知道在客家文化裡面有將寮的信仰嗎？什麼是將寮呢？
將寮又稱五營元帥、五營將軍，駐守在以廟宇為中心及東南西北等五營，是負責保衛庄民安全以及免受邪魔惡煞之侵擾的守衛員。分別代表為：東營屬木、南營屬火、西營屬金、北營屬水、中營屬土，將寮內供奉的是五營相對應顏色的三角形令旗。
客家庄民在農曆初二、十六舉行「犒將」儀式來酬謝神明與兵將的護衛。祭祀供品以家常菜為主（菜飯、牲禮），感謝五方將士的護衛。以大茅埔庄為例，會在泰興宮集中由廟祝來進行流程，而在其餘四座將寮前，住在附近之居民也會安置供桌擺放供品，形成人和兵將互動的溫馨畫面。
