泰興宮，又稱大茅埔泰興宮，位於臺中市東勢區，是一座竣工於咸豐六年（1856年）的廟宇，以道教為主，主祀三山國王。該廟也是當地王爺信仰的重要中心之一。大茅埔庄在清嘉慶年間由來自廣東潮州府大埔縣的張寧壽率領莊民到此墾荒，開圳引水，發展周邊地區，並建立泰興宮作為中心。廟內還有護庄神龍，展現了客家建築獨特的神明信仰文化。
泰興宮後方—屋背山，更是客家傳統中的龍神就是所謂的後山守護神，是風水命脈所在，屋背山因外型像是一頭牛臥趴的姿勢，在大茅埔社區建庄選擇地點時，希望可以人丁旺盛，所以由風水的觀點選擇在牛睪丸的位置建庄。
