麻薏（麻芛）
夏天的野性是限量的，把它搓擠出來，洗成一碗滑潤的溫柔。啊！原來夏天如此爽口，那深綠色的苦鹹甜，是去年與誰故事？

黃麻，俗稱苦麻，通常在七月進行收成。嫩黃麻葉的產期從端午後到中秋前，早期人們會摘取嫩黃麻葉，經過撿選、搓揉、沖洗等四個步驟，製成消暑的「麻芛」。再加入地瓜、勾芡，煮成一道南屯限定的麻芛湯。
而種植黃麻的主要目的是為了取得黃麻皮，以供製作麻繩和織造帆布之用。在七月，當黃麻成熟後，人們會將它砍伐下來，然後剝去外皮，浸泡於水中，接著清洗，最後將它們曝曬在陽光下晾乾，這些黃麻纖維就可以用來編織繩索或製作麻布袋。
犁頭店在地的文史工作者，將麻芛產業與麻芛文化結合，由財團法人萬和文教基金會接受文建會指導，於民國93年在萬和宮文化大樓五樓，成立「麻芛文化館」。館內從犁頭店的歷史軌跡、到麻芛的文化發展，有系統地介紹，讓訪客參觀後對麻芛有更深刻的體驗和瞭解。
