搭乘200公車，在霧峰郵局站下車，再步行至霧峰林家宮保第園區。霧峰林家宅園被列為國家保護的古蹟，就像是一個有故事的老朋友，一直在阿罩霧（霧峰舊地名）地區等待我們去探索。
在宅園裡，有三個特別的地方：宮保第、大花廳和草厝。宮保第是一個古老的房子，建於1858年，它有著漂亮的對稱樣式，裡面有很多有趣的東西等著我們去發現。大花廳則是另一個特別的建築，它建於1890年，有一個獨特的舞台和美麗的花紋雕刻，代表著富貴和繁榮。最後，草厝建於1837年左右，是林家早期的生活區域，它經過了很多努力才得以修復，現在呈現在我們面前。
這個宅園裡面充滿了歷史和故事，每一個地方都有它的特別之處。我們可以透過參觀與探索，了解更多有關林家和臺灣過去的文化。穿梭古今，思古幽情。
